🎬PAST PEOPLE 🎬
HELLOOOOOOOO…today were gonna be looking at Mrs. Woz’s old student movie openers. Maybe they are good…Maybe they are bad…who knows…but today we’re going to find out.😈
The first movie opener of the day is one called roll call, as a movie opener, it offers a unique way to introduce characters and set the tone. On the positive side, it builds anticipation, establishes personalities, and creates early engagement. This method allows for a quick understanding of key players, enhancing viewer connection. BUTTTTTTTTT I feel like it revealed too much information too early on. And it gave off more vibes of a movie trailer then a movie opener. And a way to fix that would’ve been to reveal less information.
The next movie of the day is one called new everything…it serves as a compelling movie opener, capturing the relatable experience of a boy starting at a new school. On the positive side, it establishes empathy, resonating with audiences who've undergone similar transitions. It sets the stage for character growth and provides an opportunity for diverse storytelling. BUUUUTTTTTT the camera quality was very very grainy, and i get that were highschoolers and we don’t have access to profesional equipment, but it was very noticeable. I guess a way to fix that would be to get a better camera, but there isn’t much you can do about that.
The next movie is one called dream land…it is really really good for a movie opener, but I really have no idea what this movie is going to be about given this information. It’s quality was great and amazing and it looked very pretty, but it really had nothing to add to the story. I guess a way to fix it would be to add more dialogue or voice overs.
The next movie is called dear lover…it grabs you with this personal vibe, like you're reading someone's diary. The emotional stuff hits you right in the feels, using letters and messages, making you all curious about who's who. But, like, there's a tiny prob—it could get talky-talky with too much chatting and less cool visuals. Gotta keep the energy up without drowning in feelings, you know? Pace it right.
The next movie is called Dare to Thrill… movie opener for adrenaline junkies! On the hype side, it kicks off with this crazy excitement, making you crave more heart-pounding action. It's a thrill ride from the get-go, leaving you on the edge of your seat. But here's the lowdown—too much action might overshadow the plot, risking a shallow storyline. Plus, it needs the right balance to avoid being just another flashy flick. You just gotta make sure you keep a good pacing.
